I started with the basic full shape, then I added the cuts for the windows, the cuts for the grids, and finally the handrails and roof details. If the holes go through the entire body, you can do it with a single sketch: create a body, add a sketch to it, draw your rectangle and circles in the sketch, and pad the sketch. I think it should be removed from FreeCAD. It’s basically obsolete except no one wants to admit that for some reason.
But it really isn't very forgiving if you make mistakes. When it comes time to make the pocket, select the pad again and then space bar again to bring it back, select your holes sketch again and under tasks you can make the pocket.ĭid not mean for that to be that long, sorry.
